Confessions
Additional time for Confession has been added next week. A priest will be available in the church confessional: Wednesday, Dec. 18th from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19th from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. These times are in addition to our regular daily confessions (M-F) from 8:15 to 8:30 a.m. and Saturdays from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

A nine day celebration that begins on Dec. 16th is a Latin tradition that is over 400 years old. It commemorates the difficult journey that Mary and Joseph endured from Nazareth to Bethlehem in search of a warm place to stay the night. (Posadas means lodgings). It’s time to fill the January – July 2025 volunteer calendar to provide lunch for Respite Care participants. A pair of volunteers make and deliver lunch on the second Thursday each month for 10-12 Respite guests and staff. Our parish coordinator, Janet Chafe, has a list of menu ideas from sandwiches to baked ziti and fruit salad to cookies!
