Lent

Ash Wednesday

8:30 am, 12 noon, 3 pm (Liturgy of the Word), 6:30 pm. A limited number of lenten devotionals from Word on Fire available in the narthex on Ash Wednesday.

Daily Mass

All daily masses will be help in the church during Lent.

Stations of the Cross (Fridays)

  • After Morning Mass (English)
  • 7pm (Spanish)

Knights of Columbus Fish Fry

Friday, March 27th, 5–8pm, Family Life Center

Confession Times

  • Regular times
    • Mon–Fri, 8:15–8:30 am
    • Saturday, 3:30–5:00 pm
  • Additional Lenten times to be announced

Fasting and Abstinence

Fast Days

Catholics fast on only two days during Lent:

  • Ash Wednesday
  • Good Friday

What fasting means:

  • One full meal
  • Two smaller meals that together don’t equal a full meal
  • No eating between meals
    (Catholics ages 18–59, unless exempt for health reasons.)

Days of Abstinence (no meat)

Catholics abstain from meat on:

  • Ash Wednesday
  • Good Friday
  • All Fridays during Lent

(Catholics age 14 and older.)
