Mardi Gras Oyster Roast & BBQ

Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the Mardi Gras Oyster Roast in 2021.  We are hopeful that this well attended parish event will return in 2022.

On the Sunday before Ash Wednesday, the Family Life Center will be transformed into a Mardi Gras extravaganza.  The menu includes BBQ pork and traditional Southern side dishes, as well as oysters.  Bring your own shucking knife and gloves or use one that is provided.  A highlight of the day is the breaking of the piñata by our parish children.  And, a slice of King Cake rounds out the menu. This event has historically sold out quickly.  Tickets go on sale six weeks prior to the event and are available after the Masses or through the Office during regular business hours.  Cost is $30 per person (children 10 and under are free).  For information or to help with this event, contact the chairpersons Rory & Mary Lubic.
