Donate: Monetary contributions welcome.  Envelopes available in the Narthex or through the office.  Suggested donation: $100. During this special 24-hour Giving Tuesday event, we will be celebrating our faith and supporting the Catholic schools and ministries that help shape our souls. Our angel tree will be up this weekend. We gather names from local agencies and place tags on the Angel Tree. Parishioners select a tag, purchase the item requested and return the wrapped gift by Monday, November 30th to the narthex of the church. This year, the 13th Annual Feeding of the Multitude will be a drive-thru event.  Each of the 600 families will receive the fixings for their Thanksgiving meal (uncooked ingredients to feed a family of four).  The drive-through bag pick-up will take place at St. John’s Parish Church’s Walton Hall, 3673 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island, on Nov. 21, 2020 from 12 to 3 PM. On May 16, 1970 Monsignor Charles Rowland was ordained by Bishop Ernest L. Unterkoefler at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston, SC. We have been blessed to have him as our pastor at Holy Spirit since 2007. May God bless him abundantly and we wish him a very happy 50th Anniversary of Ordination.
