The Catholic Appeal of South Carolina (CASC) is a primary source of funding to help sustain and expand the ministries of the 96 parishes, 20 missions, 32 Catholic schools and multiple agencies of the Diocese of Charleston across the state. As stewards of God’s gifts, we are invited to support the needs of our diocese through prayers and sacrificial gifts.

Givers of His Love | $2,300,000 – 42%
CASC provides funds to the following diocesan-wide offices and ministries across the state that proclaim the joy of the Gospel and bring hope, support and love to others:
- Parish Emergency Fund
- Multi-Ethnic Ministry
- Catechetical & Evangelization Program
- Child Protective Services
- Education Support for Social Issues
- Family Life Ministry
- Catholic Charities of South Carolina
- Parish/Parishioner Outreach & Communication
Teachers of His Children | $1,900,000 – 35%
CASC provides funds to support our Catholic schools by increasing access to affordable, quality, Christ-centered education through Catholic school grants and tuition assistance.
The appeal provides funds to over 20 college campus ministries across South Carolina. It funds FOCUS missionaries, Chaplains and campus ministers.
CASC supports youth and young adult ministries through education and training opportunities, retreats, national conferences and regional young adult community gatherings.
Servants of His People | $1,300,000 – 23%
CASC provides funds to encourage and nurture the call of men and women to vocations and consecrated life through the support of seminarians, vocation education and priest retirement and healthcare/long-term support.
